The book of Ephesians is so powerful and this quick listen can help you memorize key points in the book.

I pray God gives you eyes to see the great hope that you were called to, the amazing inheritance he has for us, and his magnificent power he worked for believers when he raised Christ from the dead and put him in the place of highest authority in the universe where he controls everything including the church which is his body.

Ephesians 2

* You were dead in you sins when your lifestyle followed the ways of the world and satan, who is at work in the lives of disobedient people.

* We all use to live this way as we lived with fleshly passion committing the sinful acts that our bodies and minds urged us to do.

* We were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of humanity.

* But God is so merciful and he loved us so much that even when we were spiritually dead sinners, he made us alive together with Christ. It is because of God's undeserved gracious gift that we are saved from God's wrath that we deserve because of our sins against him.

* And we have been seated in the heavens with Christ to show us the infinite riches of grace and kindness he has towards us through Christ.

* By grace through faith we have been saved, this isn't our own doing, it is God's gift. We are not saved by our own good works, so that no one can boast. God remade us and created us in Christ to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

* Remember you use to be separated from Christ and the covenants of Israel, hopeless and without God. But now you have been brought near, by Christ's blood, breaking down any racial divide and abolishing the law of commandments and making the way for Jews and gentiles to have access to the father.

* You are no longer strangers or foreigners, but now you are fellow citizens and members of the household of God that is built on the apostles and prophets with Christ as the Chief cornerstone through which all real Christ followers grow into a holy temple of the Lord and we are made into a place where God dwells in us by his spirit.
