In 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 , Paul gives this three word instruction in verse 17: “pray without ceasing.” Hold on to that. In another letter to the Philippians church, Paul is giving instruction again. This time, in Philippians 4:6 he tells us to “not be anxious about anything.” Hold on to that as well. Unfortunately, we have reversed the order of these scripture verses in our lifestyle -- We worry without ceasing and pray for nothing! I have to admit I am guilty of this too.
