I am a Virgin - Sexual Purity in the Real World. - MUST Read & WATCH Video

Sexual Purity in the Real World.
Some commonly held myths about
Sex before marriage - Read below:

*To be called a virgin is an insult to many teenagers!!
(This thinking results in misleading many young people)

*Safe sex is the best sex!!!
(NO this is a Deceiving Statement)

*People should have sex with as many people as they can before marriage!! ( Hebrews 13:4 -Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.)

*Everybody is doing it so let me also do it!!!
(A BIG Lie Satan wants You to Believe!)

The things above is exactly how the present  generation thinks…!

Lakita Garth, the former Miss Black California and the author of the book – The Naked Truth, says that everybody is not doing that and majority of the students graduating from college are virgins. Lakita, a gorgeous lady, not only teaches abstinence (staying away from pre-marital sex) but also actually practiced it – she boldly states “I was virgin when I got married.”

She not only pleads the teenagers to stay away from pre-marital sex but also gives reasons for abstinence – discipline, self-control and delayed gratification. She further reiterates that abstinence is not saying “NO” but actually mastering the art of self-control, self- discipline and delayed gratification. A person cannot achieve sustained success in life until he/she masters those three skills but the world teaches contrary to those three. This world, which follows Reality TV shows, thinks of getting fame in fifteen seconds and that is not true.

Sex is something good created by God.

(Below) are some (4) Lies that are around us regarding sex:

1. Nothing can happen to me if I participate in sex – but fifty percent of people have STD (sexually transmitted disease and many of them even do not know about that)
2. Everybody is doing it Everybody is NOT doing that!!
3. Practice safe sex – There is NO such thing called safe sex!
4. Peer pressure – It is only media creation

The naked truth is misery loves company!!!!
People who engage in pre-marital sex are more prone to suicide and depression because it is the relationship itself that causes lots of drama and break ups distort them internally. Another myth one should dispel is living together. But people who live together have the highest divorce rate among any group of people or category.

Let me add something to that… of all the species in this world only humans have complete freedom regarding sex. God controls all other species by giving them seasons to reproduce. But humans, who are given reason, do not have seasons. God loves us and trusts us, so let us keep ourselves holy and “Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous” (Hebrews 13.4)

Though every sin in God’s sight is the same, yet sexual immorality is considered to be something different and worse…. “Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.” (1 Corinthians 6.18-20)

Last but not the least, GOD FORGIVES - if you have already indulged in sexual sin do not think that your life is over. Jesus who forgave the woman caught in the adultery (John 8.1-11) and who gave new life to the lady who had relationship with six surely will do the same with you too. If you, like King David, can come to him with a broken heart (Psalm 51)
GOD will surely Forgive YOU and will give You a NEW Beginning.
